Sing uplifting songs together! No experience needed. Songs are taught slowly, call and repeat style.
As voices blend, they become affirmations that shift pain into light and love.
At Shine Song Circle, it’s about how singing feels, not how it sounds. Set aside fear, embrace the experience, and let your spirit shine.
Free. Though gratitude donations are appreciated. Reserve your spot here: https://momence.com/s/122327532

Our inner balance is affected by external factors - being a part of nature, we’re also influenced by the way it shifts and changes. And, just like nature we can benefit from noticing and adjusting our rhythms. By slowing down.
Both Restorative and yin yoga can provide a container to coax the nervous system into balance and promote deep rest. They both have roots in the ancient (and internal) healing arts - designed to enliven the tissues, strengthen the nervous system, steady the heart, and balance our energetic system.
This training focuses on the shapes and movements and mindfulness practices that will support your body during the time and transitions of Spring. We’ll find and embody relaxation “from the inside out” by bringing together the influences of Chinese Medicine, methodology for yin and restorative yoga, mindful meditation, and yoga Nidra.
This training is for yoga teachers, acupuncturists, massage therapists and anyone that practices restorative or yin yoga who wants to dive deeper into the philosophy and practices.
What you will leave with:
The complete sequence for SPRING REST and playlist
Foundational anatomy (and differences!) for restorative and yin
How to prop and guide each part of the sequence
Benefits/contraindications/modifications for each pose
A deeper understanding of meditation, meridians, and the 5 elements
Elemental Yoga Nidra script for a guided meditation
Short medical Qi Gong sequence for the kidneys
Sunday, 9:30-7:00pm (30 min break at 12:30) 7 hours
We welcome you to this sacred opportunity to join our voices and hearts together in community. Kirtan is a devotional and meditative practice that helps focus the mind, cultivate inner peace, and deepen self exploration. We will sing a mixture of sanskrit mantras and english prayers often in call-and-response format. It is less about sounding pitch-perfect, and more about union and intention. All are welcome- those that wish to learn, listen, participate, or simply experience the energy. .
Rob and Melissa are kirtan singers and yoga teachers devoted to sharing their love of kirtan and Bhakti Yoga wherever they go. The husband and wife duo is based in the Pacific Northwest, but they lead kirtans, workshops, and retreats all over the world. They have shared their music at numerous yoga festivals in the US, including Bhakti Fest, Shakti Fest, Prana Fest, Bend Yoga Festival, and the Northwest Yoga Feast.
Their music has been described as “heart-opening bliss,” “joyful medicine,” and “love and devotion materialized!” Whether you’re new to kirtan or a life long devotee, Rob and Melissa create a fun, accessible and sacred space...the perfect setting for a joy-filled celebration of the divine!

Curious about the roots of a modern vinyasa flow class? Come try a traditional style ashtanga practice! Ashtanga is a style of yoga popularized in Mysore, India by teacher K. Pattabhi Jois (from a lineage of yogis and holy texts before him). The practice focuses on linking breath and movement. It follows a set sequence of poses punctuated with sun salutations (“Vinyasas”). There are 5 series in ashtanga. Practitioners progress with the guidance of a teacher over the course of a lifetime. This 2 hour practice will move through all the poses of the primary series with guidance and modifications. Hands on adjustments will be provided as well. All levels are welcome!

“In winter all is hidden. Winter is the season of retirement into depth, because of the cold outside. At this time you must not disturb or disperse the yang (Fire, active) energy so that you can allow the yin reserves to be re-established within you.”
