STUDIO POLICIES & ETIQUETTE
First Time Here?
Welcome. We’re so glad you’re here.
If this is your first class with us, please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before class begins. This gives you time to check in, get oriented, and settle onto your mat before class starts. For safety and flow, we may not be able to accommodate first-time students who arrive after class has begun.
Arrival Timing
To support a calm and intentional studio environment, all students new and returning are asked to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before class begins. This allows our teachers time and space to set up, prepare, and center themselves before guiding class.
Check-In Policy
Please stop by the front desk to check in for every class, even if you have reserved online. Each student must be checked in so we can ensure accurate attendance and a safe class environment.
Class Reservations and Walk-Ins
We strongly recommend reserving classes online to guarantee your spot. A limited number of spots are held for walk-in students, and availability is not guaranteed. Walk-in students are encouraged to arrive early.
If you reserve a class and do not attend, applicable charges may apply. This policy applies to all students, including unlimited members and class pass holders.
Sales and Transfers
All sales are final, including memberships, class passes, workshops, special events, and merchandise. Class and workshop passes may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend. In the case of extenuating circumstances, please email hello@alpinehotyoga.com as soon as possible.
Late Arrival Policy
Classes begin promptly at their scheduled time. Late entry into the studio is not permitted unless arrangements have been made with the teacher in advance. If you arrive after class has started, we invite you to join a later class.
Mats and Towels
Yoga mats and mat towels are available for use at the studio at no additional charge. While we encourage students to bring their own mat and towel for personal comfort, we are happy to provide them if needed.
Classroom Silence
Please honor the quiet of the studio space. Silence supports a grounded and focused practice for everyone. Community Power and Pilates classes are the exception, where conversation and laughter are part of the experience before and after class.
Shoes and Personal Belongings
Shoes must be removed and stored in the cubbies before entering the studio. Please keep personal items tidy and out of walkways.
Electronics
All phones and electronic devices must be turned off and left outside the classroom.
During Class Etiquette
Please refrain from talking once class has begun so everyone can hear the teacher and stay present in their practice. If you need assistance, quietly raise your hand or connect with the teacher after class.
Be mindful of the space around you and respectful of neighboring mats. Please wipe up any sweat around your space after class.
We encourage students to remain in the room for the full duration of class whenever possible. If you need to step out, please do so quietly and mindfully.
For the comfort of all students, please avoid wearing strong perfumes, colognes, or scented oils.
Hands-on assists are optional. Please follow studio cues regarding consent.
Above all, we ask that you move through the space with respect, kindness, and awareness of the shared experience.
Lost and Found
Items left behind are placed in the Lost and Found and donated to Das Thrift Haus once per quarter. Please check with the front desk if you believe you have misplaced an item.
