Grief in Community: An 8-Week Circle

8-Week Grief Group

Co-facilitated by Aimee Huffman, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT & Jenelle Landgraf, MSW, LICSW
Thursdays, 6:30–8:00pm | October 1–November 19, 2026
Group size: 8–10 participants

This eight-week group creates a supportive space for processing grief in community. Rather than trying to fix or move grief along, we focus on witnessing it with care, presence, and compassion. Grief can arise from loss, change, trauma, illness, or experiences that were never fully acknowledged.

Sessions combine grounding and mindfulness practices, nervous system awareness, gentle movement and breath, guided reflection, and group and paired sharing. We maintain clear guidelines to ensure safety, connection, and thoughtful listening.

Who This Is For

Adults who are seeking support for grief, have basic emotional stability, and are not currently in acute crisis or major life transition. This group can be supportive for individuals with complex trauma or PTSD when done alongside ongoing work with a licensed mental health professional.

Getting Started

Upon registration, you'll have a 15-minute welcome call with your facilitators. We use this time to share more about how we work together, answer your questions, and make sure you feel fully supported as you join the group. Grief is tender work... we want to know more about you and ensure you feel genuinely welcomed before you arrive.
