This class brings together two healing and strengthening modalities for the connective tissues in the body - the first half of the session is a self massage with therapy balls (provided) that brings about an increase of hydration for the whole of the fascial system. Primary benefits include chronic pain relief, increased mobility, injury prevention, and stress reduction. Last half will bring mindfulness based practices into traditional yin shapes geared towards the health of the fascia, ligaments, tendons, and joints. Both sides of this practice support a sense of grounding and nervous system down-regulation with 5 element meridian theory woven throughout.
